Great Happiness Quotes

"Compliment 3 people every day. Never waste an opportunity to tell someone you love them. Leave everything a little better than you found it. Keep it simple. Think big thoughts but relish small pleasures. Become the most positive and enthusiastic person you know. Floss your teeth. Ask for a raise when you think you've earned it."
~ By H. Jackson Brown Jr.

"Acceptance of what has happened is the first step to overcoming the consequence of any misfortune."
~ William James

"The ideals which have always shown before me and filled me with the joy of living are goodness, beauty and truth."
~ Albert Einstein

"If your determination is fixed, I do not counsel you to despair. Few things are impossible to diligence and skill. Great works are performed not by strength, but perseverance."
~ Samuel Johnson

"Often people attempt to live their lives backwards: they try to have more things, or more money, in order to do more of what they want so that they will be happier. The way it actually works is the reverse. You must first be who you really are, then, do what you need to do, in order to have what you want."
~ Margaret Young

"For every minute you are angry you lose sixty seconds of happiness."
~ Ralph Waldo Emerson

"People become really quite remarkable when they start thinking that they can do things. When they believe in themselves they have the first secret of success."
~ Norman Vincent Peale

To have the determination to do things immediately is to ensure success. The one slogan that is good to remember is 'Now or never'. If we are not able to use the thought we have immediately we will never be able to, because the strength of the thought begins to gradually reduce till it doesn't seem important anymore. Also there might not be enough time for it in the future. Let us first think of something that we want to do and take a thought, "if I do it now it will happen or it can never happen." When we think in this way we will not postpone but do what is required immediately.
~ Brahma Kumaris, Mt Abu.
