Value

VALUE

"Every man stamps his value on himself... man is made great or small by his own will."

J.C.F. von Schiller had his own way of saying what we now call self-esteem. But really, that is what it is - the value we each place on ourselves.

It really does not matter what others think. They might think we are the greatest thing since sliced bread, but we will not be satisfied if we don't place a strong value on ourselves (which is why people in Hollywood, adored by millions, can still have self-esteem problems).

Or they might think they are God's gift to the planet, even though everyone they meet looks for the shortest route to the nearest exit. Which explains why some lowlife seem to always be showing off.

But most of all, you can put the value you wish on yourself and therefore, you can be as valuable as you wish.
