Keep your dreams alive. Understand to achieve anything requires faith and belief in yourself, vision, hard work, determination, and dedication. Remember all things are possible for those who believe.
- Gail Devers
Faith in one's progress brings contentment.
Even when the situation is not according to what is expected, there is contentment for the one who has faith in his own progress. Such a person will not just sit back waiting for things to change nor will he just curse his fate. Instead he'll do his best and use all his resources in bettering the situation.
The understanding that all life's situations are a training for me, automatically keeps me content in all situations. There is naturally an experience of constant progress and a feeling of having gained something from all situations.
- Brahma Kumaris, Mt. Abu
Faith doesn't make anything happen - faith rests on something that has happened!
- Malcolm Smith
Where there is faith, there is greatness.
To have faith means to recognize the positivity in the self, in others and in situations. It also means a deep connection with God. The one who has faith is able to bring out the greatness in everything and everyone. So such a person reveals his greatness wherever he is. When we have unbroken faith, we have the understanding that everything that happens is for some good cause. So, we are satisfied with everything that happens in our
lives. We are creative in our responses to the environment, which in turn, makes us truly great.
- Brahma Kumaris, Mt. Abu
Without faith, nothing is possible. With it, nothing is impossible."
- Mary Bethune
To know that the seed of selfless action will surely bear fruit at its own time is to be light.
Sometimes when involved in a task, we tend to get carried away with the result. We become so result-oriented that we begin to expect the fruit of what we have done immediately. Without the recognition of the fact that the result might take time to come, we begin to get caught up with our own expectations. This creates a lot of heaviness in our mind and we might even give up what we are doing. When we make a contribution for something, we must develop faith that whatever has to happen will happen at the right time. We don't have to eat unripe fruit, i.e., not get carried away with immediate results but have to wait patiently knowing that the fruits of our actions will ripen at their own time. With faith this is possible and we will be able to free ourselves from negativity and heaviness.
- Brahma Kumaris, Mt. Abu
